What is the Dame Hombro AI trend?
On October 2, 2026, street creator Kevin Wai stopped Dominican dembow artist Bulin 47 outside a restaurant in Spain, played a beat from a portable speaker, and filmed an improvised freestyle. The clip passed 72 million Instagram views in a week.
“Dame Hombro” is the song in that clip, and it became the tag for the trend. By October 6 the first AI recasts appeared: same moves, same camera, same audio, different face. A second wave hit in the week of October 19.
